Since 1970, AKU has been producing comfortable hiking, trekking, and mountaineering boots that are built to last.

Grüezi bag® specializes in high-quality sleeping bags and insulated clothing. The brand was originally developed in close collaboration with a Swiss company and has since combined alpine expertise with innovative material development. At its core is the specially developed DownWool® insulation, made from 70% down and 30% wool, which is considered a milestone in modern insulation technology.
Unlike conventional down, DownWool® loses virtually no performance when exposed to moisture—on the contrary: in high humidity, the loft can increase by up to 30%, thereby also boosting thermal performance. Thanks to the wool content, the filling also ensures a particularly comfortable microclimate, regulates temperature, and remains highly compressible and as light as pure down.
In the apparel sector, SilkWool® insulation complements the concept. This temperature-regulating filling offers an exceptionally wide comfort range and adapts optimally to changing conditions.
The owner-managed company from the Bavarian Alpine foothills was founded in 2016 by Markus Wiesböck. Grüezi bag® stands for innovative, sustainable, and durable outdoor products that combine maximum comfort, reliable performance, and natural materials—and has been honored with awards including the ISPO and Outdoor Industry Awards.
