Naimakka

In 2009 the founder of Naimakka, Patrik Shields, started making bracelets out of paracord. Back then he recycled old parachutes, researched materials and experimented with different designs. In 2012 he started with his company Naimakka in Stockholm.

Parachute leash – also called paracord – is a thin cord, which was used originally by American paratroopers in World War II. It is so reliable and durable that astronauts have used it to make repairs to the Hubble Space Telescope.

By now Naimakka is so well known and demanded that lots of imitations are on the market. But Naimakka is, and will always be the original, with its high quality materials used and the extremely strong paracord with an amazing minimum breaking strength of 550 lbs (249 kg)!

With the Naimakka bracelets you are ready for every situation; it doesn’t matter if you need to survive in the wilderness or in the urban jungle. They look stylish and first-class thanks to stainless steel respectively brass latch, and unraveled, the 8 feet (2.4 m) long cords with 7 intertwined strands are highly versatile. The paracord is of ultra-high grade US military standard, MIL-C-5040 Type III.
